Language change for the Loox

(only for change between english, german, french, italian and spanish)

Update: Modified to fit the new Ver. 2.00 flash update

Preface: From a technical point of view, there is no reason, why one shouldn't flash another language version of the Loox Operating System. If I am wrong with this, please drop me a line.

Warning: You can lose your warranty by doing this. I am not responsible for that. Maybe it's illegal, so don't do it. I am just showing the possibility for educational purposes.

Instructions

1. Download the flash-update from Siemens in your desired language

2. Install the Flash-update but don't start it yet

3. Download my new ImageInfo.dat ( rightclick - save as...) and save it in the installation path of the flash-update. Overwrite the original. Standard is C:\fsc.tmp\FlashTool\P22452-P929-V1xx

4. Start the flash-update and procede according to the siemens instructions.

 

You're done! The flash-update program doesn't complain about the different languages any more.
